Our government's primary function is to provide education, housing, food and safety of the people. Healthcare should of course be part of that and is a battle we continue to fight despite being obvious to so many of us. Simply stated, government should provide for the common good. Let's discuss one such example which now stands at risk of ending.

The Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced Monday that it is officially withdrawing the final rule it delayed for the third time in November..... that would have set new standards for the way animals should be treated if their meat is going to be sold as “certified organic.”
As we have stated a dozen times before, Scott Pruitt is in charge of the Environmental Protection Agency yet he would love nothing more than to erase it from existence. He's living out his wildest fantasy with this sadistic opportunity to destroy it from the inside. In Pruitt's mind, nothing, even the future our the one planet we have, should stand in the way of corporations doing whatever they want to maximize profits. This is as simple as we can explain it.
