The cruelty is the point.  Racism, xenophobia, and hatred being implemented by our country.  A stain on the U.S. for all of time.

The Trump administration on Wednesday [11/20/19} began carrying out its controversial plan to deport adults from El Salvador and Honduras who are at the southern border seeking asylum to the US — and send them to Guatemala.  The complicated mechanics of the plan, signed in July, has so far been shrouded in secrecy...where asylum-seekers are not entitled to a lawyer.

The Department of Health and Human Services will change the rules to allow recipients of federal grants for healthcare, including faith-based adoption agencies and foster care providers, to turn away same-sex couples.  This is an attack on the LGBTQ community.

In January 2018, Professor Don Moynihan at Georgtown said, "Criminalizing undocumented immigrants, creating chokepoints for refugee applications, slashing the number of legal immigrants. Whats next? Taking away citizenship from naturalized immigrants. And it won't be applied evenly or fairly."

Unfortunately he was accurate as we sit here in October 2019.

The Trump administration is seeking to denaturalize and deport longtime U.S. citizens, seizing on tiny mistakes in the process and putting the status of every naturalized citizen at potential risk.

This term, with Kavanaugh’s vote, the Supreme Court is going to overrule Whole Woman’s Health, gut Roe v. Wade, and allow states to regulate abortion clinics out of existence.

When you have greedy, ignorant people in charge, you are going to get results like this.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which back half of the nation’s mortgages, have a mandate to ensure access to affordable loans and are responsible for the broad availability of the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage.

The Flores agreement mandates that migrant children cannot be held in detention for more than 20 days. In late August, the Trump administration announced its plans to roll back Flores—putting thousands of children in danger.  We must fight this.
