Ben Carson was confirmed as secretary of Housing and Urban Development in March 2017.  Carson had zero experience in housing policy, but has said that anyone who questions his qualifications are stupid.  He actually said that.   Yet here we are and millions ARE SUFFERING as a result.

One of Trump's repeated promises (lies) during the campaign was to go after pharmaceutical companies and take action to lower prescription drug prices.  Why would a White House owned by corporate interests do such a thing to help the American people?  Turns out they won't, bowing to powerful industry as usual over the interests of the people they were elected to represent.

Trump, who believes he's a champion of veterans continues to work to expand privatization of Veterans care. This would be a costly disaster for our Veterans because Republicans would refuse to cover the massive increase in costs.  Please read on.

Our seventh post focuses on marijuana legalization votes which passed in several states, something long overdue, considering two-thirds of people support legalization per a recent Gallup poll.
